Welcome to L.A. Dance!
We are a multi-award winning studio in our 17th season! Our studio is not like any other studio in town. It is our goal to push every student to achieve their goals in dance as well as in life! With our caring and personal teaching techniques, each dancer will be able to fulfill their complete potential. We feel that it is important to begin teaching every student proper techniques and skills from the beginning of their dance experience. Classes are offered at every skill level. Dancers will be placed in the proper class level which will allow them to feel comfortable, grow, and get the most out of their dance experience.
You can go on-line at anytime to check your account balance, payment history and any upcoming fees. You can also make payments online. Go to www.ladanceaz.com, on the homepage you will see registration/log-in. Your log-in is your e-mail address that was provided when you registered. Please see the front desk to enter your password for your account if you do not already have one.
Please NO FOOD or DRINK in the Dance Rooms!!! NO Street Shoes in Classrooms. Shoes must be for dance only!!
In the event of a pandemic or unforeseen, God willing event, all classes will go virtual and LIVE via Zoom or similar platform which dancers will be provided with the same instruction, education and feedback/corrections as in-person/studio.
Registration and Tuition
Registration fee and first month’s tuition is due at the time of registration. Tuition is AUTOMATICALLY deducted from the provided card. There will be No Credits or Refunds of any kind will be given. Tuition may not be carried over to the next month. Anyone who fails to pay tuition for the month will automatically be dropped from their class/classes and required to pay any balances owed.
Regardless of attendance, tuition is due the 1st-7th of each month. Tuition is AUTOMATICALLY deducted from the provided card. You may pay by cash or check, but must be paid prior to the 1st of the month to avoid your credit card on file being ran. There will be a $25 late fee for any and all tuition that is not received by the due dates. Payments made after tuition week must include the $25 late fee. If a student is absent when tuition is due, please mail in tuition to avoid late fees. Tuition remains the same for each month. There will be a $35 fee for all returned checks.
In the event of a pandemic, or unforeseen situation, virtual classes will be made available for all students.
Every student will be placed in a beginning level. Students that have previous dance experience must audition for higher leveled classes. Each student will be placed in a class/level that will allow the dancer to achieve the most success and skill development. Final placement and decisions will be made by Lora Wood. Please direct any and all questions or concerns to Lora Wood.
Adding or Dropping a Class
Any student wishing to add or drop a class must fill out an Add or Drop form found at the front desk. All changes must be made in writing. A written notice is required 30 days prior to dropping a class. Those who fail to give a 30 day notice are responsible for all unpaid balances and will continue to have tuition deducted until the 30 day written withdraw is received. There are no refunds or credits under any circumstance.
Any student who misses a class do to illness, emergencies, or personal reasons may attend a different class as a make-up. Students may choose any class that fits their age and level. Make-up classes must be made within 30 days from the missed class. All students taking a make-up class must check-in at the front desk. NO REFUNDS or CREDITS will be given under any circumstances. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Each class will participate in our annual Summer Recital. This allows the dancers to show family members what they have learned through out the dance year. There is a $65 Recital Fee for each dancer. Recital fee includes: Recital T-Shirt, medal and action photos and video download of the show. Each dancer that participates must purchase a Recital Costume. Costume fees must be paid in full no later than December 15th. Any student that does not have their costume fees paid in full by this date will not be able to participate in the show. Costume fees are not refundable.
Combo Classes: $70
Ages 5-7 Classes: $70
Ages 6-8 Classes: $75
Ages 7-10 Classes: $75
Ages 9-11 Classes: $75
Teen Classes: $80
Each costume will have a 3.5% surcharge fee to cover taxes and shipping costs.
We are a dance family. It is important that we respect all instructors, dancers and dancer’s family members. Any distasteful behavior will not be tolerated.
Masking & Social Distancing Policy
While inside the studio room during dance practice
While eating or drinking
Social distancing should be practiced as best as possible
No fever for at least 72 hours without the use of medication that reduces fevers such as Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, or others
At least 14 days have passed since symptoms first started
Symptoms such as cough, breathing difficulty, lethargy, weakness, and/or others have improved
COVID-19 test results as a negative test AND written clearance from a health care provider to return
